The unscented heat pack inserts are designed and handmade by Cotton Apothecary in their Barossa Valley and Adelaide studios using organic cotton and Australian grown lupins.
The recycled wool blend Scottish tartan heat packs have a removable recycled wool blend cover which is hand crafted in the Barossa Valley. Recycled wool is soft, durable and the dense twill weave is designed not to shed. Wool is naturally insulating, moisture wicking and temperature regulating.
Recycled wool is made using recycled wool garments and offcuts. The fibres are separated into colour groups and are re-spun to form the new recycled wool yarn. This yarn is then woven into a dense twill and the fibres are brushed, forming the finished material. Recycled wool is eco-friendly, biodegradable and better for the environment.
